Raised in his family kitchen in Louisiana, San Diego Chef Nick Brune grew up with an unshakeable belief in the power of food to bring people together. Immersed in the region’s rich culinary history where dishes have soul and meaning, he quickly learned that great food starts with great ingredients.

Organic, Locally-Sourced, Sustainable

An avid fisherman, Nick is committed to sourcing seafood from responsible San Diego-based suppliers like Catalina Offshore Products which supports well-managed fisheries. Back on dry land, Nick is equally passionate about fresh, locally-grown, organic ingredients for the simple reason that they taste better while being good for us, the environment and our farmers.

Chef Nick has worked as Head Chef for some of L.A.’s top catering companies and coordinated catering for some of the city’s biggest events. He has also cooked meals for some of the biggest names in showbiz, including Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony; Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park; Robert Plant; Slash; the Red Hot Chili Peppers; and Bono. With years of experience under his belt, Chef Nick is able to create innovative cuisine using fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations to create a menu that is both delicious and sustainable.
